Psychological Evaluations for Immigration cases
Dr. Rasmussen has training in conducting psychological evaluations for petitions for extreme hardship waivers, domestic violence (VAWA) & asylum cases. Immigration evaluations are clinical assessments that are provided for people who are navigating the immigration proceedings. We are not attorneys, so we recommend that you consult an immigration attorney as you navigate this process. We can work with you and your attorney to help you build a stronger case. The immigration process can be confusing, overwhelming, and anxiety-provoking. We are here to help you navigate this part of your process. Clients can expect a warm, collaborative, and compassionate experience with our practice. We can provide these evaluations online via a secure tele-psychology platform and can work with interpreters.
What to expect:
A clinical interview with you and members of your family.
Administer psychological assessments to assess for mood, sleep, and psychological symptom checklists
A review of medical, psychological, and other documents to help understand your psychological and emotional functioning.
Consultation with your attorney
After we complete the interview and psychological assessment, we write a comprehensive psychological evaluation report and provide to your attorney.

Vocational and Career Evaluations

We provide strengths-based vocational and career assessments to help you find joy in your career and to flourish in your life. We also consult with leaders on how best to leverage their strengths to improve their performance, as well as the performance of their team. We can provide these evaluations online via a secure tele-psychology platform.

An interview with you gathering background information.
Administer psychological assessments to assess strengths and career interests.
After we complete the interview and psychological assessment, we write a comprehensive psychological evaluation report and provide to you.

Attention-Deficit/hyperactivity disordeR (ADHD) EVALUATIONS
Dr. Rasmussen has completed specialized training in ADHD and con provide evaluations when there are concerns with attention. She is available to evaluate adolescents (age 12-up) and adults. These evaluations can be conducted online via a secure tele-psychology platform. We are happy to provide a list of professional referrals for children younger than 12 needing evaluations.
What to expect:
Appointment one: Background information is gathered and a plan is discussed.
Appointment two: Administer psychological assessments based on your specific concerns.
Appointment three: Discuss results of the evaluation.
